Andres grew up on Chicago’s North Side and now lives in Kenosha. His passion for animal care began in 2008 while working at the Humane Society, where he helped develop an enrichment program and has remained involved ever since. He joined Willow Springs in 2014, back when it was known as Regner Veterinary Clinic. 

At home, he cares for a lively crew of pets—two huskies (Jefferson and Farnsworth), a German shepherd (Doofy), and five cats: Loucious, Minnie, Mr. Meowgi, Gem, and Karl. 

He is engaged and the proud father of three daughters, including 8‑year‑old twins and a 4‑year‑old. 

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his kids, attending sporting events, and playing poker. 

Fun fact: he has dressed as “Santa Paws” at Willow Springs every December for the past 11 years.
