Nicki

Nicki lived in Illinois until the age of 13, when she moved to Nevada. At 21, she relocated to Wisconsin, where she has since made her home. She originally pursued early childhood education and worked in a daycare for several years before realizing her passion lay elsewhere. Her lifelong love for animals ultimately led her to join the team at Willow Springs.

When Nicki first started at Willow Springs, she had three pets—her animal family has since grown. She now shares her life with three cats, Winchester, Saphira, and Annabelle, as well as two dogs: Scarlett, a long‑haired German Shepherd Dog, and Ezra, a Blue Heeler/Lab mix. Nicki completed a year of training with Scarlett at Rettungs-house in Kenosha, where Scarlett successfully earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen certification. Nicki’s pets truly are her “fur kids,” and she loves including them in as many adventures as possible.

Outside of work, Nicki and her boyfriend enjoy camping trips, especially to locations with scenic hiking trails where the dogs can join in. She also loves reading and enjoys expressing her creative side through crafts like painting and her latest hobby—learning to crochet.
