Samantha grew up all over the world as an Air Force child and now calls Kenosha home. She studied in California to become a veterinary technician, inspired by the summer she spent working alongside her great‑uncle, a veterinarian in North Carolina. 

At home, she cares for a lively crew including Gomez, her attention‑seeking cat with major FOMO; Baste, a sweet cat who proudly presents his toys; Sampson, a shy but gentle soul; and Jormungard, her handsome, show‑off snake. 

She is married to a retired Navy veteran and has two children—one in college and one in high school. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and cross‑stitching. 

Fun fact: before entering veterinary medicine, she served in the Navy herself.
